Quick Gifts
Using your extra tinsel, why not make a few extra wreaths as gifts for those unexpected guests.
1. Bend the coat hanger into a circle and leave the hook at the top for hanging.
2. Tape the end of the tinsel to the hook and wind it around the coat hanger.
3. Decorate with left over Christmas decorations.
15 Minute Apple Crisp
Impress your friends and family with a quick Apple Crisp dessert!
Ingredients
4 medium apples, sliced
¾ cup brown sugar
½ cup plain flour
½ cup oats
⅓ cup butter or margarine, softened
¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon
¾ teaspoon ground nutmeg
Cream, Ice cream, or yoghurt if desired
Method
1. Heat oven to 190 degrees Celsius. Grease bottom and sides of 8-inch square pan with butter or margarine.
2. Boil apples until tender and soft.
3. Drain and spread apples in pan.
4. In bowl, stir remaining ingredients except cream. Mix well then pour directly in pan.
5. Bake for 15 minutes or until topping is golden brown.
